Yesterday I talked with a friend from afar. We both think that Covid -19 may be winding down. We hoped that it would be the beginning of the end of the pandemic. We both know a few people who are infected with the virus. The vast majority of them, if not all, were vaccinated, and they all felt it was similar to a common cold, even lighter than a common cold. All of them recovered in a relatively short period of time. My friend mentioned that we still need to be cautious, especially those not vaccinated. He knew one who was relatively young, was not vaccinated, and recently perished because of the virus. I completely agree that we need to do our part to protect ourselves and others by getting vaccinated. Herd immunity is near, if not already here. This article in TIME Magazine is excellent to read.
